Time to Branch Out

My husband and I had a heart to heart the other day.
After three years of marriage he finally admitted that he’d like me to try some new recipes.
(I guess I should have gotten the hint when he gave me a new cookbook for Christmas!)
So I took on the challenge.
I made a list of all of the menus that I am comfortable making.  (20 in total)
Then I went through all of my cookbooks and made a list of new recipes to try.  (25 in total)
So hopefully in trying some new menus I can add to my “comfortable making” list!
I’ll be sure to let you know the results of this branching out in the coming weeks!
Wish me luck!
By the way…

That is so funny…my hubby did the same thing a few years ago. The hard part, is that he is quite picky. I found the best place for “normal” dinners are in ward cookbooks. Pilsbury and Campbells websites both have great ideas too! Good luck.

I’ve been trying so hard to not make anything with Cream of Ckn soup or Sour Cream and it’s been a good challenge. Good luck! 🙂

There is a blog called Our Best Bites. They also just had a cookbook come out.. anyway, everything I have made from that blog I LOVE ( and it is free!) I am always trying their recipes!

I’ve been making lots of new recipes lately. I’m quite proud of myself- and I’ve been finding good ones! Let’s trade!
