DIY Drive In Movie with Box Cars

Looking for a fun way to entertain your kids?  How about having your own Drive In Movie?

When I did it, I got a few apple boxes from my local grocery store and wrapped them in white paper.  Then I handed the kids the markers and let their imaginations take over!  I also added a paper plate for the steering wheel which I attached with a brad so they could actually turn them.

Then we put on a movie and had popcorn!  They loved it, and I’m sure your kids will too!

DIY: Valentine T-shirts

Valentine’s Day is one my favorite holidays.  I love everything about it.  Spending time with my husband is always great, but I also like to have a little something for my kids too.  They are not left out of our Valentine plans.   We have done something a little different each year.  Some examples are love notes, stuffed animals, games, treats, etc…  This year is one of my favorites so far.  The kids will all be getting fun Valentine T-shirts to wear on Valentine’s Day.  (Obviously, they won’t be a surprise, but they can’t wait to wear them!)  Cali’s kids joined in with us for this fun project.

Supplies needed:
T-shirts.  (I bought several at Michaels and ordered a few online.)
Heat Transfer Vinyl (I love buying from Expressions Vinyl.)
Cutting machine (or scissors!)
