Cali and I had fun with the kids today making rainbow smoothies and popsicles.   We collected our favorite fruit smoothie recipes to make just the perfect colors to make a rainbow… Perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day Healthy Treat.  Please note – There is no food coloring used in any of our colorful recipes.

  1. Holly, what an absolutely beautiful and delicious recipe! I have a really stupid question: how many smoothies does this recipe make? Thanks for such a great post!

    1. Alison, I could have easily filled 4 pint jars. If your cups are smaller, it would obviously go farther. This time I just did the 2 pint jars, the rest in popsicles, and still had some flavors left over. (7 popsicles total)

  2. I used this more as an inspiration then the recipe. We had all our usual smoothie ingredients on hand. The purple was blueberries and oj, green was frozen kale and pineapple juice, yellow was pineapple a piece of mango and pineapple juice, Orange was mango a strawberry and oj, red was strawberry and pomegranate juice. And if any flavors needed more liquid I added coconut water. Made small batches in my ninja personal size blender cups and froze after each color. Thank you for the idea!
