Menu Calendar & Eddie Cap

A few weeks ago we went to a friend’s house for dinner.
They have a beautiful new house, and we had a great time together.
I noticed there was a cute Menu Calendar on their fridge.
I asked my friend about it, and she said she had just made it, and was starting to use it.
Then last week, I happened upon the blog post about making it!  The same one she had!
It was so cute I was excited to make one for myself!

It is a free downloadable calendar that you can print out and laminate to put on your fridge.

What a great way to organize meals!  I am excited to start using it!
By the way, visitingteaching.net had tons of great ideas that coordinate with the monthly message.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

What are your kids going to be for Halloween?
We have a little Train Engineer at our house!

I’m pretty proud of the hat he’s wearing.

I used my newly acquired sewing skills to put it together.
Thanks to a bunch of coupons, I bought all of the materials at Jo Ann’s for less than four dollars!
I followed this pattern: The Eddie Cap Tutorial.
I think it turned out pretty cute.

By the way, if you haven’t bought your candy for tonight yet,
don’t forget Emily’s ideas for other things to hand out to Trick or Treaters!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!
