I’m not a huge fan of regular, normal, plain pretzels. For me to enjoy them, I need to spuce them up a little. Here are two ways to easily make your pretzels more yummy!
Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels
16 oz. pretzels (about 10 cups)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 300. Put pretzels in bag. Add oil to bag and coat pretzels evenly. Mix sugar and cinnamon and then dump onto pretzels. Shake bag to coat evenly. Spread onto a cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes–stirring once.
Ranch Pretzels
16 oz. pretzels (about 10 cups)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix (or 3 tbs.)
Preheat oven to 300. Put pretzels in bag. Add oil to bag and coat pretzels evenly. Add ranch mix to pretzels and shake bag to coat evenly. Spread onto a cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes–stirring once.
Today I couldn’t decide if I wanted salty or sweet, so I made a half batch of each. Perfect!
(Thanks to my friend Dana for always making these ranch pretzels, it’s her fault that I’m hooked!)
