Halloween Handout Ideas

Last year, my sister, Holly and I were talking about how much candy our kids get at Halloween!

We don’t even go out that long, but WOW!!!  Their little pumpkins usually come home full!
We wanted to look for something fun to hand out that didn’t add to the dentist bill!
I ended going with Glow Sticks!!  It was a huge hit!
(If you missed our other post about how these glow sticks can be fun on other holidays, click here!)
I bought them from the dollar store and got 10 for $1.00.
Holly was able to find these Stretchy Mini Mice at Target and the kids loved them!

Another fun place to shop for Halloween Novelties is
(All of these pictures come from this site!)
They have almost anything you could want for a good price, BUT….you have to think early!!
(Hence the post about Halloween in September!)
Other Glow-in-the-dark items include:
Sticky Hands
or the
Nature Assortment
Pumpkin Bubbles
Or Finger Shaped Bubbles…eeeewww!
Do your kids like the Silly Bands?  My kids LOVE them.
 Or these Bracelets
I know the kids would like these flashlights.
Fun notebooks, pencils, erasers, or crayons are always fun to get.
All kids LOVE stickers!  Am I right??
Right now at Oriental Trading they have free shipping on all orders over $39.
Use code:  MN1219748  (I’m not sure when it expires, so hurry!)
They also have some fun costumes too!

A couple more non-food ideas are: change from your piggy banks, spider rings, or any other small charms.
Go to your dollar store and see what you can find!
So now that I’ve got you thinking…what are you going to hand out for Halloween?

  1. The past two or three years; crayola crayons (24 count) would be 25 cents a box, so we handed out boxes of crayons and spent only $10-15 each year. This year we’ll have to think up something different, the price has gone up.
