Sunday dinners growing up were always special when my mom would make jello in little individual cups and smear COOL WHIP Whipped Topping on top right before setting them on the table. I have many memories of wanting to be the one to put the COOL WHIP on top. It seemed like having those jello cups always made the dinner a little more fancy.
COOL WHIP is such an easy thing to add to any dessert to make it great.
Another recipe that uses COOL WHIP is a family favorite of ours:
Oreo Delight
This recipe is so easy, and so delicious!
You’ll need:
1 package of Oreos
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 small package of vanilla instant pudding
1/2 c. butter
16 oz. COOL WHIP
1 large package of chocolate instant pudding
4 cups of milk
Directions:
1. Crush the oreos. Melt the butter and mix it with the Oreos to make a crust (leaving a handful of Oreos out to sprinkle on top)
2. Mix the cream cheese, 2 cups of the COOL WHIP, and the powdered sugar together and spread on the Oreo crust.
3. Mix both dry pudding packages and milk together and put on top of the cream cheese and COOL WHIP layer.
4. Top with remaining COOL WHIP and sprinkle with Oreos.
Refrigerate until serving
