New Christmas Tradition

We are so excited to start a new Christmas tradition this year.  I loved this idea as soon as I saw it.

The 25 Days of Christ is a Kit of everything you will need to make 25 ornaments and book of all the stories that go with each ornament.  It even comes in a heavy duty box to keep your ornaments in.

We spent a Family Home Evening putting all of our ornaments together.  While we painted we would guess what these items might have to do with Christ.  The kids loved painting and putting them together!
A little bit from The 25 Days of Christ:

“Start a new tradition this year that puts Christ at the center of your Christmas celebrations. Gather your family each night in December to study the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as you countdown to Christmas. Children of all ages will love and remember these scripture stories as they place a symbolic ornament on your tree after each night’s reading. You will build lasting memories as you fill your home with the true meaning of Christmas. What better gift can you give your children and extended family this Christmas season?”

These 25 Days of Christ kits have been so popular that they have sold out for this year! Right now is the time to get on their wait list to get your kit for next year.  See more information at The 25 Days of Christ.

However, if you still want to do something like this with your family this year, there is a run down of all the 25 days for you to use HERE.   Try a new tradition with your family this year!

  1. What a great tradition! My little guy is just starting to really enjoy the holiday’s and I was just telling my husband we needed something like this. I need to get on their wait list!

  2. I do feel that postpartum type of letdown after Christmas. I know so much how it feels to have a heart bigger than a budget. I am trying to change that a little bit each year. After gathering all my purchases for Christmas, I take a day, to plant myself near our Christmas tree and wrap presents while watching a few hours of Christmas movies on television.
