It only takes me a few days after Halloween before I am tired of hearing my kids ask me for treats constantly. This is the best solution we’ve tried so far– I am LOVING it.
We took all of their candy and made countdown to Christmas chains!
This way– they get one piece of candy a day… no arguing, and they are excited about it!
(I have a friend who did a countdown to Thanksgiving, and that’s probably an even better idea– less candy, still same concept)
Anyway– we bought plastic wrap, and used yarn I had on hand to tie between each piece of candy.
The kids loved rolling up their treats, this was very much a project they could help with.
If you still have leftover candy– whip one of these up, your kids will love it!
